Day 5
Yesterday I ran 2.25 miles in the morning. I'm finding it easier and easier to run and not get tired as quickly. I don't take any breaks just run on through. Tomorrow I will run 3 miles. I need to clean up my diet so that I can really see results.

Day 1
I've been pretty sick the past couple of days and today was the worst. It's a disappointing start to Mission 2 but tomorrow hopefully I will feel a lot better so that I can start Mission 2 with the right foot.

Day 70
So today marks the end of mission 1.
My current weight is about 195, which is 5 pounds short of my goal of 190 pounds. Tomorrow I will start Mission 2, which will consist of my quest to become as lean as possible and to obtain a six pack. On May 31st, I weighed 226 pounds, which brings my total weight loss to 31 pounds. For Mission 2, I will try to become more accountable and put pictures up so that you all can see my progress. Mission 2 will end December 15, 2008.
Mission 2 Objectives
Get down to at least 175 pounds
Obtain a six pack
Cut my body fat percentage
Clean up my diet
Lower carb intake
Shrink my waist to 30 inches, currently I'm at 33 inches.
Retain muscle mass

Mood: Excellent
Diet: 4 chicken breasts, a little bit of rice
So today I went to the gym to play some basketball. I played about two hours of full court basketball.
Workout:
2 miles (16 times around a 200m track)

So today it was raining all day so I couldn't run outside on the track but tomorrow I plan on going to the gym to do some lifting and cardio with the machines that they have there. I will post a picture tomorrow.

Today I decided to rest my shoulder and instead do some cardio at a nearby 400m track.
Workout:
Ran 2 miles and did 60 incline push ups.

Today was my long day as far as classes go. I had absolutely no free time to get to the gym but tomorrow I should be able to spare a couple of hours to do arms and do cardio. Good luck to everyone on their missions.

My shoulder is still hurting so I decided to lift through the pain but I also lowered the weight I usually lift to prevent overworking my shoulder and further injuring myself.
Workout:
Chest
push press 1 warm up set/ 2 sets of 8-12 reps 130 pounds/ 2 sets of 8-12 reps of 150 pounds
incline press 1 warm up set/ 2 sets of 8-12 reps 110 pounds/ 2 sets of 8-12 reps of 130 pounds
cable cross overs 3 sets of 60 pounds each arm

Seated rows 1 warm up set / 2 sets of 8-12 reps 130 pounds/ 2 sets of 8-12 reps 150 pounds

Day 63
Tomorrow I will reconvene my training program with Jeremy. Figuring our classes and getting things ready for the semester has really interfered with my exercise regimen. My shoulder has been hurting every time I do a push up so that also has been an obstacle. Tomorrow I will take a picture in the morning and will start doing so everyday. Day 62: Right shoulder injury
Tomorrow I will try to start lifting again since my shoulder has been hurting the past couple of days, it hasn't gotten better. If it is still to painful to lift tomorrow then I will try to double up on intense cardio to keep my fitness up.

So today, I decided to go play some intense basketball for my cardio session. I'm resting from lifting weights at least for today. Full court basketball was quite a workout as I was in buckets of sweat afterwards. Tomorrow I will go lifting with Jeremy and do some HIIT Cardio.

Day 59: Back to the gym
Diet: 4 chicken breasts, lettuce, water, a really delicious hard boiled egg, beans, a little rice, plantains
So today I returned to the gym with Jeremy. I haven't lifted dumb bells in almost a week because of the transition from being back home to moving into my dorm but it felt good. No soreness, but I was having a little pain on my right rotator cuff which I'm a little concerned about.
Workout:
Chest
Flat bench 55 pound dumb bells 3 sets of 8-12 reps until failure
Incline 50 pound dumb bells 3 sets of 8-12 reps until failure
Cable cross overs 40 pounds 3 sets until failure
push press 180 pounds 3 sets until failure
Biceps
Curls 3 sets 80 pounds until failure
